oh, random shit that hides in my head.

SMS.ac

I just checked my email and I find that I received an invite from Jesse Jackson (aka “the Kiwi”) to join SMS.ac (which I didn’t join, btw).
My first thought: “WHAT IS GOING ON?!”
I would have thought that by now that he’d have deleted me from his contacts list and would have noticed to uncheck me from the invites list that SMS provided (taken from the hotmail contacts list).

I’m not sure if it was a mistake or not. I’m thinking it was.
And I’m not quite sure what I would say if he were to contact me. I’m still feeling the anger, though. MUCH anger.

Went to Bitoz and Missed Jonh’s Set, dammit.

AH, the end of the 2nd week of school. Brilliantly unpleasant. BUT I finally got the classes I wanted: Calc and Chem with Sheila and Vassar, Philosophy (same one Monty happened to be in), and Indoor Stationary Cycling (which was painfully awesome) at the AK Club West. My class schedule isn’t so bad and I could handle it if only I didn’t have to wake up an hour earlier than I have to to drive my brother to HIGH SCHOOL. It’s not very fun to wake up at 6:30am every morning anymore. And in addition to that, I had to be up at 8am to go to work this morning. Too much getting-up-early.

I have exciting news: I am now employed at school as a Tutor. Originally, it was just going to be for the Math Lab in the SMB (easy stuff) but then I evolved into a tutor-of-what-I’m-good-at. Basically all math levels lower than Calc I, Biology 116 and lower, and Chinese 101. Working in the lab gives me $9.50/hr, but if I do private tutoring (which I have two, TWO, lined up for next week) I’ll get approx $15 to $20 per hour. HOW SWEET IS THAT?! Dammit!

One class tommorrow, which SHOULD mean I get to sleep-in. Instead, I’ll be up at 6:15am to ready myself for work. Until 11am. Then I go work-out. It’s Thursday, meaning a good swim.

My legs will be in pain tommorrow. But cycling is fun. Also meaning I will have a nice, toned butt by April. Metabolism and endurance will be upper than ever. I will be in more shape than I’ve ever been before.

It’s going to be fucking awesome. The pain will be worth it.

Ooooo. Also feeling … I don’t know… but I’m listening to Nat King Cole and being emotionally happy.

the Upcoming Holiday

It’s that time of year again!

Chinese New Year’s on Sunday!

I look forward to this every year, even more than Christmas.
Family, friends, food, money. Yes, it’s all good.

Low points:
- Everyone pretends they are well and happy. More stressed this year than ever.
- And again (for the millionth time) he’s gone back to the Land of Childhood Happiness. Because, well, Vietnam is much better than spending quality time with family [that doesn't exist] during the one HUGE, IMPORTANT holiday.

blabber jabber

I think I might take Beginning Swimming (~TR 830-945). Or Aerobic Kickboxing.
Fuck this. As of right now, I’m still one credit short of 12, so they took my UA scholarship away.
I’m so fucking pissed.
Grr. Angry.
