This Is Going To Work!

So I’m going to give up Myspace for 40 days. Just Because. Just because I’ve realized how much time I’ve been wasting on the internet doing non-important things. Like myspacing. But blogging is different: it gives me a place to rant and relieve myself of thoughts swimming in my mind. It feels good to do this so I will continue to do it.

Not much has happened as of late. Jordan and I went out last night, the first time we’ve hung out since probably New Year’s. We’re meeting up again today to visit the old school. Which should be fun. I’ve been meaning to visit Goldstein, Goudreau, Lynch, Madame Clifton, and the lot since the last time I’ve been (which was in September). Should be a grand time; I’m looking forward to it.

So this Calc II thing is not working out so well. Didn’t achieve a ‘C’ on the first test, and hoping I would better on the next, I studied at least 7 hours for the second one. Yeah, that apparently was not enough studying. But since the class as a whole didn’t do so well, Foster is giving us another chance and we’re taking Exam 2 again (but this time in multiple choice form) and our REAL score for Exam 2 will be the average of the two, if the second one is better. Hopefully I’ll do a lot better and maybe get a high ‘C’ or even a ‘B’ as the average. HOPEFULLY.

I’m Not Supposed To Be Doing This.

Lack of posts lately because of my goal of avoiding the internet as much as I can for the sake of saving time. The last few months have been consumed by my obsession of myspace, blogger, last.fm, facebook, and the like so I decided that I really needed to stop. Also didn’t help that last semester I had homework that was online, so it gave me an excuse to dink around. BUT THAT SHALL CONTINUE NO MORE! The minimum is once a day and ONLY to check emails. Other stuff is every other day. It’s working so far.

Ugh. I woke up sick yesterday. This would be my fault since I insisted that I would not become so (I mean, c’mon… snog-fest Sunday!). And usually I DON’T get sick when others are, so I thought I was good. I woke up with a horrible stomach-ache yesterday morn and ended up barfing intensely into the very same toilet I had my butt on only 15 seconds earlier. It was very disgusting. But puking always results in extreme betterness, so I wasn’t complaining too much. I felt better for the rest of the day but I still had this odd feeling of being full (and not to mention, gas-y). Although MUCH better today; I only feel the slight hint of the angry dino.

On the subject of barfing: I don’t understand people that are bulimic. The whole “barfing” action is (in my opinion) one of the worst feelings in the world (not counting being broken-hearted). I’d rather be cut by a blunt butterknife than puke. Pukie puke puke. Gross.

I’ve a Calculus test on Fri that I’m deathly afraid to take because of the last one’s results.

You Wanna Know What?

I woke up sore today. Really, really sore.
My hamstrings, gluteus maximuses, and somewhat my calves.
AND I had to cycle today.
OH JOY, THE PAIN.
But being sore is good. And soooooo worth it.
I didn’t realize that what I did yesterday would get me so sore.
This “working out” thing is going well.

My New Chem Lab

Oh, I have the greatest Chem Lab EVER. About a third of the class gets along great, and about 6 of us just had dinner together at Moose’s Tooth (oh god, I’m so full). And lab is with Barker, and she basically told us the answer to the first post-lab question. This is awesome, compared to last semester when I had Adeline (the butch lesbian; aka The Nazi) and she would turn angry if you asked for help. And plus, a lot less pressure and stress when doing experiments in class… if any at all; Adeline’s lab had everyone’s stress levels through the roof.

Despite having a 3 hour lab on Wednesday nights (and this being my 4th class of the day), I don’t hate going to Lab class any more.

One of the happiest Valentine’s Day I’ve had.
It’s definately up there with that one time my mother gave me a stuffed Dalmation dog. It was cute.
