pandemic leodensian with an australopithecus

oh, random shit that hides in my head.

NOW I understand!

Mandi secretly showed me back in May and I thought it was cute. Didn’t think much of it then. NOW I understand… IT’S ADDICTING!!! I can’t stop, but that’s ok.

I can see that from a certain angle it might seem strange…

On Being In Love

3 days. I have 3 days left before I go back to California.
That’s like: !!!!!!!

What I feel can’t be put into words; all I know is that emotions conflict and I know I’m going to miss home.

6 months! Until the next time I see Alaska.
It’s funny how I used to gripe about how I hate this place, but it’s so not true. God, I’m in love. I’m in love with this place I call home. I didn’t realize this until I left–and now I won’t be home often enough.

Sad.

But I’m not saying I don’t love California… California is great! It’s just that the love isn’t the same.

Maybe I’m still learning to adjust. The only problems is: I feel like I don’t want to adjust.

Happy Christmas Eve!

Oh jeez, being poor and sick sucks.

  1. Poor, because I lack in monies due to the fact that I have been unemployed for the past 3 months and going to an expensive school. Bah. So now all the presents I have are the ones that I bought when I HAD money… like 2 months ago. Meaning: very few actual presents and possibly lots of baking I must do.
  2. Sick, because I’ve not been taking my vitamins and when I got home everyone was on the verge of being sick and now I’ve contracted the disease. So right now I am in bed, wasting away on the internet, pondering about what I am going to bake and wanting to watch The Office instead.

I’ve never been so unprepared for Christmas before. Awful. Just awful.

The Riot (Jonh’s band) had a show last night at the Wilda Marston(sp?) Theatre. Yes, seats suck. But ah, the kids were lovin’ them; you could tell they were definately missed. It was good times. Oh, and Sleep Machine did a pretty awesome set, too, with the pre-recorded drums and base (they just got new ones that don’t know the songs yet) and the visual show. It was interesting. AND Subconscious played… EW. Ok, so they weren’t that bad, but Ari was there and I remember him being an ass. Axel wasn’t though, Hm.

Grandfather is still in the hospital and they won’t let him leave until he can walk, which means it could be a few days. Or more.

I should eat something. Then I’m contemplating taking a nap to heal me slowly.

oh shit!

I think I’ve gone soft! Noooo. I can’t. Not cool, not cool, not cool.
:(

I also just woke up about half-and-hour ago. I must have been exhausted from yesterday… and now I’ve wasted half a day sleeping… POO.

On a much brighter note:

Grades for Fall Quarter 2006:

  • Intro to Bio – Microbiology: B+
  • Organic Chemistry: B
  • Calculus: A
  • Symbolic Logic: A

I’m quite (insanely) proud of my ochem grade because I got a 56% on the final, which is 40% of our total grade.
Bio, not so much, but I slacked because I was cocky. Tsk, tsk; I never learn.
